Recipe Links!

I will post here links to blog posts that are related to food I've tried to make and the links that inspired me from either Google-related searches or Pinterest! :)  You may have even seen my photos on Instagram or even on the side bar of this blog!
*I don't own any of these links or recipes - hence why I'm posting them here. :) *

  1. Kraft Canada - my go to for most recipe searches!  I can't get most of those Kraft-specific ingredients here in Finland anymore - but it was and is still pretty useful!
  2. Sticky Buns Recipe (Bread Machine)  - I usually make these without nuts and serve it with the caramel sauce in the dish drizzled on top and with a side of ice-cream!
*Note: I don't put the dough in the fridge at all and they still turn out fine.  Once they're rolled and sliced and in the baking dish - I let them rise during supper - a fast trick is to turn the oven on max, shut it off and crack open the oven door (when the kids aren't around!) and sit the dish on the stove and let the heat make them rise a bit and then bake for about 28 minutes (my oven runs hot quickly).
    I also add nutmeg!
  3. Korean Beef & Rice - A huge favourite around here and it's simple enough Hubster can even cook it! So every week when I'm too busy to cook anything more complex - I trust the Hubster can cook this. :D  And I make sure we have a package of ground beef (or pork/beef mix - it's cheaper) available!
*Got this from a friend who also makes it regularly! :)
  4. Pizza Dough (Bread Machine) - absolute favourite pizza dough and makes a pretty large pizza - sometimes even two!  I also sprinkle in some dried parsley to give the dough a bit more flavour!
  5. Homemade Hamburger Buns (Bread Machine) - delicious.  Absolutely delicious!  Way better than any store bought buns - soft and light...buttery and yummy.
  6. Chocolate Glazed Donuts (Oven Baked!) - we don't have good donuts here - besides - homemade is so much yummier!
  7. Pretzel Bites (Bread Machine) - time consuming but it didn't take too long and they were tasty! I  only went the butter and salt route first then we had some left over the next morning - so I sprinkled cinnamon on top of more melted butter and tossed them in that and it was heavenly too.
  8. Betty Crocker Dinner Rolls (Bread Machine) - Fantastic and easy recipe and easily can be turned into garlic cheesy rolls by sprinkling some garlic powder in the dough mix or by melting butter and garlic powder (and dried parsley!) and brushing/drowning your rolls and sprinkling with cheese before tossing them in the oven!
  9. Beaver Tails - a fried dough pastry thing shaped like a beaver tail and tossed in a mix of cinnamon and sugar!  A real Canadian thing - so Canadian - that I've never had one before and lived in Finland when I tried it. (Link to a Facebook recipe because that's where I found it.)
  10. Egg Drop Soup - an old favourite of mine and I think the only thing I was missing from it was that Chinese vinegar in restaurants that it was served with.
